Brotato Chips started in the year 2025. After realizing that San Diego did not have a legacy potato chip brand to truly call its own, Casey Smith set out on a mission to establish such a chip. It had to be authentic, unique, absolutely delicious, and carry that signature laid-back optimism of SD. 

But where to truly begin? Enter the only name that makes sense...Brotato Chips. It happened when two guys decided to goof around at work calling each other "Brosquito bite, Broman Empire," etc-- and then someone said it: Brotato Chip. The name came before anything else, and honestly, its perfect. Because when you stop to smell the broses life just makes sense....

From that spark of a name, we built something serious. Every bag of Brotato Chips is small batch and kettle fried the old-school way in beef tallow. Just bold, crunchy, ridiculously good chips made with care in every batch.
